Y'all
Just watched Lightyear - you know, the weird spin-off Toy Story movie.
It was a damn good action movie, really liked it.
If this were a more serious movie blog, or a more serious media critique blog, I might ramble on incessantly about how the movie has some halfway decent themes that it seems far too afraid to actually, properly engage with.
But, at heart it's a kids movie - it's not gonna get too deep with the darker themes it mentions in passing - but the fact it mentioned them at all was rather in my opinion.
It's a fun action sci-fi movie that I think is well worth the time to watch. If they decide to make more, I'm on board.
