Monday, April 5th, 2010What can I say? I’m weak. I bought one today.
Have to say that so far I’m not really feeling any sort of regrets with this purchase. It’s doing everything I would want it to do, and it’s already gotten more use this afternoon than my laptop had gotten all month.
Would I recommend one for everyone? No, not yet. There are still some issues, like lack of really good native apps, but otherwise it’s nearly ready for the normal user.
Hopefully in the coming week I’ll be able to crank out a review of the device, as well as some thoughts on iBook vs Kindle. We’ll see.

Stephen Fry: Actor, Writer, Apple Enthusiast
Mr. Stephen Fry, actor, writer, friend of Douglas Adams, and Apple Enthusiast, has written a non-review review of the new Apple iPad for Time magazine.
In short, he fancies it quite a bit. That is not at all shocking.
What is, however, is the amount of space he dedicates to the memory of Douglas Adams.
