(Yeah, I know u haven't been on WoW in eons..but whatever :P) They have kick ass abilities both tanking and dps, but the quest lines you start off with are SOOOOO morally disheartening. You have to kill cowering villagers and your best friend. All so that Shredder (aka Arthas the Lich King) can send u on a wild goose (or grphyn as the case may be) chase.
