I don't have kids nor do I know anyone who might be in this position. The <em>huge</em> uproar that was created when she considered an abortion, but eventually decided to have the kid? That was some damn good TV, that got people thinking and talking... This? It was so far from reality that it was a good escape mechanism. If you want to be realistic and analytical... How a MINISTER could feed and clothe a family of 9 PLUS all of the misfits that they adopted through out the years says a lot about the state of organized religion. I think 7th Heaven did as much to damage "religion" as it did to help. I concur with the pregnancy and sex dissertation above. However, the show is enough to bring UP the debate which allows the discussions to be had... so it's not ALL bad, right? Now now… I actually liked 7th Heaven.
